Service Description
These sessions are offered at a discount as a thank-you to all animal care professionals, including veterinary and animal welfare caregivers, front-of-house staff, kennel teams, and every supporting team member who helps animals and their guardians every day. Support from someone who understands the emotional toll and unique challenges of working in the field first-hand, and how this can impact the grieving process. A virtual meeting link is provided upon booking, but support via phone is available based on client preference and upon request. If you would prefer a phone session, please note this in your intake form.
Cancellation Policy
Effective Date: October 1, 2025 EverKin provides specialized pet loss support from a certified pet loss grief support professional with a license in veterinary nursing. EverKin offers one-on-one and group sessions to help you navigate grief. Participation: You must be 18 years or older to participate. Participation is voluntary. EverKin may discontinue services at any time for any reason. Sessions are supportive guidance, not mental health treatment. Confidentiality: We respect your privacy. Group sessions cannot guarantee full confidentiality. Personal information is used only for scheduling, communication, and service delivery. Scheduling & Cancellation: Appointments must be canceled or rescheduled at least 24 hours in advance. Late cancellations may be subject to a fee, as outlined in your session agreement. Processing fees are non-refundable. No Guarantees: While we aim to provide a safe, supportive environment, we cannot guarantee specific emotional outcomes. Grieving is an individual process. Important: Our services are not counseling, psychotherapy, psychiatric, or medical care. For urgent mental health concerns, contact a licensed professional or emergency services.
